# Changing a request's details

> Mosaqo doesn't have in-place editing yet — here's how to handle a change of date, time, or details today.

<Warning>
  **There's no "edit request" feature yet.** You'll see an **Edit request** button in the request's detail pane, but it's disabled ("Coming soon") — it's on the roadmap, not live. This page covers how to handle changes in the meantime.
</Warning>

## If a guest needs to change date, time, guest count, or add-ons

There's no in-app way to modify a live request's details. Your options today:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Talk to the guest">
    Use the [messaging thread](/guest-experience/messaging-guests) or the contact info on the request to confirm what they need.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Cancel the original request">
    See [Cancelling a request](/requests/cancelling-a-request) — pick the reason that fits (e.g. "Guest requested cancellation").
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create the corrected booking">
    Either have the guest rebook through the catalog with the right details, or — if the request is already Completed/Cancelled — use **Duplicate** on it and adjust the date/time from there. See [Request lifecycle → Duplicating](/requests/request-lifecycle#duplicating-rebooking).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## If only internal details are wrong (nothing the guest needs to know about)

There's no notes field for internal-only edits either, at this stage — anything you need to remember about a request has to live outside Mosaqo for now (a message to your team, a note in your own system).

<Note>
  This is a known gap, not a setting you're missing — we didn't hide an edit feature behind a permission or plan tier. If this is blocking you often, that's useful feedback to pass along.
</Note>
