# Cash payments (current model)

> How guests pay today, and what's coming later.

<Note>
  Mosaqo is cash-only right now. Card payments (debit/credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are fully built behind the scenes but switched off platform-wide until launch — guests will only ever see **Cash** as a payment option today.
</Note>

## How it works today

<Steps>
  <Step title="Guest books and selects Cash">
    It's the only option shown at checkout.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Provider collects cash in person">
    At the time the service is delivered.
  </Step>

  <Step title="That's it">
    There's currently no "mark as paid" button or payment-status tracking for cash bookings in Mosaqo. Completing a request doesn't record anything about payment — cash collection happens entirely outside the app.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  If you're looking for a way to confirm or record that a guest paid, it doesn't exist yet for cash bookings. Track that however you already do outside Mosaqo (a ledger, your accounting software, a simple note) — this isn't a setting you're missing.
</Warning>

## Your Payments page

You'll find a **Payments** page in the dashboard (reachable from your profile menu or by URL) showing a "coming soon" message for card payments. It's hidden from the main sidebar for now since there's nothing actionable there yet.

## What's coming

When card payments launch, guests will be able to pay by debit/credit card or mobile wallet at checkout, and you'll connect your own Stripe account so guest payments go directly to you (Mosaqo doesn't hold guest funds). Until then — plan your cash handling process around providers collecting in person.
