# Understanding the dashboard

> A tour of the sidebar, the Overview page, and what all the numbers mean.

## The sidebar

**Operations**

* **Overview** — your home page, covered below
* **Booking requests** — where you manage every guest booking (shows a red badge when there's something new)
* **Calendar** — your bookings on a calendar view

**Management**

* **Services**, **Properties**, **Providers** — your catalog setup

**Other**

* **Settings**, **Support** (opens an email to our team)

## The Overview page

This is your "what needs my attention" screen, not just a stats dashboard.

### Action items

Four cards, each linking straight into a filtered view of Booking requests:

| Card                         | Shows                                            |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **Needs attention**          | Requests where a provider flagged a problem      |
| **Unassigned**               | Requests waiting for you to pick a provider      |
| **Starting soon**            | Upcoming bookings with no confirmed provider yet |
| **Awaiting provider accept** | Requests assigned but not yet accepted           |

Filter these by property using the dropdown above them.

### Schedule

A table of upcoming bookings — Today, Next 3 days, or This week, depending on what you pick from the selector. You can assign a provider right from this table without opening the full Requests page.

### Statistics

Below the schedule: new requests, completed, cancelled, and average time-to-assign, over a period you choose (7 days up to all time), with a comparison to the previous period.
