# Setup checklist

> Everything worth doing before you hand out your first QR code.

Use this as your master checklist. Every item links to the full how-to.

## Account

* [ ] Sign up and verify your email
* [ ] Complete onboarding — your name, organization name, currency, and timezone (**currency can't be self-service-changed afterward** — see [Account & organization settings](/settings/account-and-organization), so pick it carefully)
* [ ] Note your **30-day free trial** countdown on the Billing tab

## Catalog

* [ ] [Create your first property](/properties/create-a-property) and choose the right type (Entire property vs. Rooms & suites — this is permanent)
* [ ] If it's a Rooms & suites property, [add your rooms](/properties/rooms-and-suites-setup)
* [ ] [Create your first service](/services/create-a-service) — category, pricing, availability, photos
* [ ] [Assign that service to a property](/services/assign-providers-and-properties)
* [ ] [Invite your team and vendors](/providers/invite-a-provider)
* [ ] [Link providers to properties and services](/providers/assigning-providers) so they show up when you assign a request

## Go live

## Before your trial ends

* [ ] Pick a plan under [Settings → Billing](/settings/subscription-and-plan) — after a 7-day grace period with no plan, your guest catalog goes offline until you subscribe
