# Quick start: your first 15 minutes

> Property → service → provider → QR code → test booking. The fastest path to a live catalog.

This assumes you've already signed up and finished onboarding. If not, start with the [Setup checklist](/getting-started/setup-checklist).

  <Step title="Add a property (2 min)">
    **Properties → Add property.** Name it, drop a pin or search its address, and choose **Entire property** or **Rooms & suites**. This choice is permanent, so take the extra few seconds to get it right.

  <Step title="Create a service (5 min)">
    **Services → Add service.** Give it a name, pick a category, set a price (Fixed is the simplest to start with), and leave the default weekly availability (Mon–Fri, 8am–8pm) for now — you can refine it later.

  <Step title="Assign the service to your property">
    Still inside the service builder, step 5 ("Properties") — check the property you just created. Without this, guests at that property won't see the service at all.

  <Step title="Invite a provider (2 min)">
    **Providers → Add provider.** Enter their email, name, and whether they're Staff or an External provider. They'll get an invite email to set up their own login.

  <Step title="Link the provider to your property and service">
    From the provider's row, open **Assign Properties** and **Assign Services**, and check the ones you just created. This is what makes them show up when you assign a booking.

  <Step title="Get your QR code (1 min)">
    Back on **Properties**, click **Manage QR code** (or **Manage QR codes**, for Rooms & suites) and download it.

  <Step title="Test it yourself (5 min)">
    Open the guest catalog link in a new tab (or scan the QR code with your phone) and book your own service like a guest would. Use a real email you can check.

    Then go to **Booking requests** — your test booking should be sitting in **Unassigned**. Assign it to the provider you invited, and confirm they got the notification.

## You're live

Print or place your QR code wherever guests will see it, and repeat steps 2–5 for every other service you offer.

  Keep your first service simple (Fixed pricing, one duration) so you can confirm the whole flow works before layering on add-ons, multiple durations, or per-person pricing — see [Pricing models](/services/pricing-models) when you're ready.
